Jellyfish Discovery - Now Open!

Jellyfish, one of the world’s most deadly yet beautiful creatures, are floating gracefully into Underwater Adventures Aquarium at Mall of America to be part of the World’s Largest Jellyfish Collection at Jellyfish Discovery. Jellyfish Discovery, opened on March 19, and is the newest adventure immersing Aquarium guests into a unique one-of-a-kind experience.

 
Jellyfish are one of the most complex and delicate sea creatures in the world. Their slow but mesmerizing motion will hypnotize guests with their beauty. Jellyfish are made up of over 95% water, can be found in every ocean in the world, and never stop growing. Being ocean’s deadliest animals, Jellyfish can pack quite a stinging punch too.

The new exhibit features several walk-around tanks, which will change colors with music, and a vast mirror landscape will amplify the breathtaking Jellyfish.

Some of the Jellies planned for the upcoming display include Moon Jellies, Lion's Mane, Atlantic Sea Nettles, Upside-Down Jellies, and many more.
